Intrepid Travel partners with MAFS alumna, former Intrepid tour leader and self-love advocate Lucinda Light on an inspiring new experience that invites Australians to connect with nature, community and themselves in the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.

The Find Your Light seven-day trip, co-designed by Light and Intrepid Travel, runs from 30 May – 5 June 2025, visiting Cairns, Kuranda, Daintree Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef and Cape Tribulation.

Aussies are invited to join Light in leaving behind work and life obligations to embark on an adventure with like-minded travellers as recent Intrepid data shows 85 per cent of Aussies feel compelled to accept social invitations.

Capped at 16 travellers, the one-of-a-kind, small-group tour in Far North Queensland offers a curated itinerary of activities designed as a “soul-nurturing journey” for those seeking respite from daily life.

The experience spotlights the importance of wellness and community through yoga, soul walks and immersion in the rainforest, journaling sessions and sunrise beach walks as a group and includes a stay at the Intrepid-owned Daintree Ecolodge.

Light said: “Travel can be incredibly healing when done with intention and it has a magical way of shifting our perspectives. By stepping outside of our daily routines, we open ourselves up to new experiences and possibilities that can shape who we are and how we see the world.”

Intrepid Travel Managing Director ANZ Brett Mitchell added that while Aussies seek more immersive experiences they are also time-poor and find it hard to prioritise themselves.

“By encouraging people to travel closer to home, we’re not only reducing travel time and maximising annual leave, but also offering a unique opportunity to connect more deeply with Australia’s landscapes, cultures, and communities,” he said.

Taking registrations now, the Find Your Light: Daintree & Cape Tribulation Adventure with Intrepid Travel costs AUD$4,995 and is available to book from 18 November 2024.
