Intrepid Travel has announced the appointment of experienced travel professional Megan Lowe as its new Head of Partnerships for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
In her new role, Lowe will steer the touring company’s partnerships in the ANZ region, focusing on building stronger relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Megan commenced with the responsible travel expert on 5 August and brings more than 25 years of experience to the role.
Prior to her position at Intrepid, Lowe worked in senior retail and wholesale roles at Flight Centre Travel Group.
According to Intrepid, Lowe joins the business at a pivotal time, as Yvette Thompson, who previously held the role, moves into the position of General Manager of Sales and Marketing ANZ.
“I’m excited to join a company that is purpose-led and stepping into a role that focuses on people and partnerships,” Lowe said.
Welcoming her to the business, Thompson said she was excited to work with Lowe.
“Having worked with Megan over the years, I’ve always admired her professionalism and positive outlook,” she remarked.
Earlier this month, Intrepid appointed Payton Iheme, a Former White House Senior Policy Advisor and tech leader, as its new Chief Impact Officer.
