Tour de Vines has experienced consecutive record months of bookings as Australians look to explore their own backyard, via bicycle.
In welcome news for the Australian travel industry, the locally owned Tour de Vines is a great small business growth story.
Cycling boomed during the height of the COVID pandemic, and this has translated into more active style holidays, including cycling tours (with wine stops – of course!).
“I think the combination of being a trusted tour operator, adding new tours in Tasmania, NSW and Victoria and many of our guests returning to travel with us again as international travel is off the radar, has all resulted in a large and sustained surge in bookings”, says Tour de Vines’ founder Damian Cerini.
“During the lockdown through 2020, we invested time and effort in developing new tours, but we also focussed on growing our agent and distribution network.”

“All our tours are available to sell by agents with industry-level commission rates and we are starting to see some of the fruits of that effort”, says Cerini.
