Global FIT rail tour operator Railbookers adds Aotearoa New Zealand back to its worldwide portfolio of independent holidays with six new customisable itineraries available now featuring three iconic train journeys and the Interislander ferry. Plus, save up to AUD$800 per couple on all NZ trips.

Railbookers’ scenic New Zealand rail offerings include The Northern Explorer, between Auckland and Wellington on the North Island; Coastal Pacific, between Picton and Christchurch; and the TranzAlpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth.

The new itineraries also include the Interislander ferry, crossing the Cook Strait between the islands.

The NZ rail trips, ranging from eight to 19 days, incorporate all four iconic train and ferry journeys plus hotels, sightseeing and more.

Highlight sightseeing activities involve Waitomo Caves and Fiordland National Park or immersive cultural experiences, such as a three-course traditional Maori feast, and tours of cities and towns on all itineraries.

Railbookers Group President & CEO Frank Marini said the NZ trips answer the call of growing customer demand for independent rail holidays in this popular destination.
