Celebrating one of its biggest years Down Under to date, Tauck reiterates its commitment to the local travel trade by investing in heightened agent engagement, targeted advertising and scaling up its Australian-based sales team into 2024 and beyond.

At a recent Sydney media event, the 98-year-old US travel company’s Connecticut-based Vice President of Global Sales Steve Spivak and Director of Sales & Marketing Shauna Sullivan Reilly shared their delight in the brand’s growth in the Australian market.

Australia is now Tauck’s second-largest market after the US, followed by Canada and the UK.

“We recognise that there are a lot of opportunities in the Australian market and we’re delighted by the growth we have experienced so far,” Mr Spivak told the media audience.

“We are committed to the Australian market as we continue to go from strength to strength. We know that relationships are absolutely key to our success here and we have been speaking with our trusted Australian travel advisors and clients as we further cement our presence.”

He made mention of recently evacuating 160 guests from Tel Aviv to Jordan to keep passengers safe during the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.

“Tauck offers curated travel experiences that fulfil travel dreams where guests can travel effortlessly with peace of mind, knowing that every aspect of their trip is taken care of,” he added.

“This allows our guests to have no distractions and simply be fully present in their travels in a meaningful way.

“It’s feeling the emotions, the pure joy of people experiencing the world through Tauck and that is our purpose: enhancing lives through travel.

“We continue to see that our unique offering resonates strongly with Australian travellers therefore we are excited by this potential.”
