For the rest of us, it’s true, TripAdvisor has launched a new platform specially for Travel Agents.

Co-created with Viator, the ‘Travel Agent Platform’ (TAP) allows consultants to search through nearly 70,000 tours and attractions, all of which are completely commissionable (sounds a little like Rezdy).

Yes, you can make money through TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor says TAP offers a competitive commission rate and caters to a global Travel Agent audience, allowing for multiple currencies, along with monthly reporting for easy performance analysis.

According to Viator’s Head of Growth, Ben Drew, the platform gives consultants direct access to the “world’s largest collection of attractions and tours” including Viator’s VIP, Exclusive and Skip the Line products.

As the system is still only one month into the testing phase, Drew said the business is still collection and incorporating feedback but so far early adopters have been quite welcoming.

Through the platform, Travel Agents will also have access to a resource center featuring helpful tips and content, Agent training, product knowledge and destination guides.
