Azamara’s four-ship fleet will return to Venice next year, offering a total of 32 voyages visiting the historic canal city for the 2023 Europe season and heralding the cruise line’s return with a 12-night The Best of The Med Voyage on 3 April.
The luxury line’s fleet will cruise to the Venetian Lagoon ports of Chioggia and Fusina, allowing cruisers to explore Venice with ease.
In addition to easy access to the heart of Venice, Azamara will introduce guests to Chioggia, a rising tourism hub thanks to its bacari bars serving wine and finger food along the central canal, Riva Vena.
Azamara’s Director of Strategic Itinerary & Destination Planning Mike Pawlus said the cruise company worked with local government and port authorities to offer voyages to Venice again.

“Thanks to our longstanding relationship with the local officials and port authorities of Venice, we’re thrilled to not only bring our guests back to this historic canal city but also to allow them to discover the wonders of neighbouring towns such as Chioggia, which only smaller ships can visit,” he said.
“We look forward to once again immersing our guests in the rich local culture and amazing historical sites that the destination has to offer.”
