Celebrating its 25th anniversary with its Explorer Sale on river and ocean cruising for 2023 and 2024, Viking has also reported a massive sales record with the company’s most successful booking month and its biggest-ever single sales day to date in January.
Viking’s record-breaking sales in January 2023 mark the award-winning company’s latest significant milestone.
The company celebrated its 25th anniversary with a meeting of its three ship classes in Amsterdam last September.
The cruise line has also welcomed 15 new ships to its fleet since 2020. This includes eight new Viking Longships for Europe rivers, purpose-built vessels on the Mekong, Nile and Mississippi rivers; two identical ocean ships; and Polar Class expedition vessels.
The second Viking Expeditions season is now underway with strong demand for Antarctica and the Great Lakes.
With record-breaking sales and some 2023 itineraries almost sold out, Europe is another perenially popular destination.
