The Utah Office of Tourism and its Utah partners have completed a winter-focused sales mission across Australia, reinforcing its push to position the state as a top-tier US snow destination for Aussie travellers.
The visit aligned with new National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) figures showing an 8% rise in Australian and New Zealand arrivals to the US in April. This is up to 94,000 visitors year-on-year.

“We’ve had an incredibly successful mission in Australia, and the enthusiasm for Utah’s winter offerings is at an all-time high,” said Corey Marshall, Account Director for Utah Office of Tourism in Australia.
“The recent NTTO data highlighting the growth in Australian visitors to the USA is very encouraging.”

Joined by Ski Utah, Park City CVB, and Greater Zion Tourism, the mission showcased the state’s renowned powder and its popular southern red rock landscapes.
At the Melbourne and Sydney Snow Travel Expos, Utah debuted its new YETI activation at the expos, supported by exclusive Salt Lake City airfare deals from Delta and Hawaiian Airlines. Key ski wholesalers were also on hand to promote their Utah snow packages.

The mission wrapped in Sydney with the second annual Ski Utah and Vivid Cruise, a VIP event to thank wholesale and trade partners.
“We’re confident that this winter mission showcasing The Greatest Snow on Earth, combined with the state’s breathtaking landscapes, we can continue to inspire Australians to choose Utah for their next winter adventure,” said Marshall.
