We Will Travel Again: Yes Please To Scoot's 120% Refund Policy

Do you or your clients have Scoot tickets for travel before 31 May 2020 that has been cancelled? Well, don’t fret, Scoot has just released a new COVID-19 Travel Policy that allows you to claim up to 120% back on your flights.

As you’re most certainly aware, things aren’t necessarily going to plan at the moment.

But, as tough as it is right now, try not to get too bogged down with the negative, because we will travel again.

And when we do, we will be more grateful than ever and we will see the world with even more beauty than we did before.

If you or your clients were set to be travelling with Scoot, with bookings made on or before 15 March 2020 and travelling on flights scheduled to depart between 23 January and 31 May 2020 that have been cancelled, the airline is now offering two quality options to claim a refund.

Scoot’s policy

To ease guests’ peace of mind, Scoot is offering two self-serve options:

  1. 100% refund via the original method of payment, or
  2. 120% refund in Scoot vouchers, valid for 12 months. 

For guests choosing Option 1, Scoot says it will take up to 14 weeks to get your refund.

The Singapore based airline says they will be processing requests in batches and that if you have previously received a refund in travel vouchers for this booking, the voucher will be voided.

For guests choosing Option 2,

  • You have 12 months to use these vouchers to make a new booking, for any travel period available on our website at the time of booking. You may use up to two vouchers per transaction.
  • If you have previously received a 100% refund in the form of Scoot travel vouchers, you will receive an additional voucher worth 20% of your original itinerary value.

If you have eligible Scoot bookings, you will receive an email very soon, with detailed instructions on selecting these options.

Scoot has also enhanced their “Manage My Booking” portal on its website, to allow customers to select these options online at their convenience.

So you can keep those travel dreams alive, even if you might have to wait a little longer to experience them. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.
