Flight 5J50 will depart Melbourne at 12.50 am and arrive in Manila at 6.20 am, while flight 5J49 will depart Manila at 12.30 pm and touch down in Tullamarine at 10.35pm.

The return of Cebu’s Melbourne service follows the return of the Sydney-Manila service in July last year.

“We know we have an expansive Filipino community in Melbourne and are pleased to be able to offer both them, as well as local Australians looking for somewhere new [and] exciting to explore, the opportunity to fly direct to Manila and explore the Philippines with our widest domestic network,” Cebu Pacific Director for Corporate Communications Carmina Romero said.

Considered Asia’s oldest low-cost carrier, Cebu Pacific flies to 19 international and 34 domestic destinations including Boracay, Coron, Bohol and Cebu.
