A tour operator is hoping to help divorcees get through the mentally & physically draining experience by providing them with holiday options to the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas.

Although, they’re not quite available in Australia, yet.

Virgin Holidays is the operator to launch three special divorce itineraries that aim to assist men and women going through a painful breakup.

While one would expect the four-night trips to include a whole lot of tears over cocktails or celebratory cheers over cocktails, it’s actually more about mending the mind and body through some peaceful and holistic experiences.

For example, guests will be able to let off some steam via retail therapy (shopping sprees), photo shoots and personal styling sessions. There are also helicopter rides over the Las Vegas strip as well as spa treatments.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to Vegas without some partying, which is why the divorce packages come with options for a luxury VIP cabana at a Las Vegas Day Club, tickets to see the Magic Mike show or a lesson from a UFC fighter.

Depending on the package they select, guests will stay at The Cosmopolitan for the duration of the trip or the MGM Grand Hotel, The Daily Mail reported.

Virgin Holidays’ divorce holidays are priced from £999 (AU$1,799) per person based on four friends sharing.

“Unfortunately divorce is a reality for one in two British adults, which can take its emotional toll, so we’ve launched a new range of products that are designed to give our customers a well-deserved break.”

Joe Thompson, Virgin Holidays Managing Director

“We always listen to our customers and make a concerted effort to respond to changing demands. This is why we’ve curated holiday options that provide the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends.”
