My Tide Times

If you’re surfing, fishing or just up for a swim, this app will tell you when the optimal time to do those activities will be. It supports over 7,000 tidal stations in over 30 countries including Australia.

It also gives you a 7 day forecast so you can plan your trip clearly, no more getting there disappointed that there are no waves.

The incidence of skin cancer in Australia is one of the highest in the world; two or three times the rates in Canada, the US and the UK. Here’s a handy little app developed by the British Association of Dermatologists to provide you with a free daily UV forecast at your location.

It even tells you the steps you need to take to protect yourself from over exposure to the sun and the risks of sunburn and sun damage. No one likes to burnt to a crisp.
