Sometimes going the #KOExtraMile just means connecting with customers on their level. Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk’s staff did just that.
An anonymous lady checked into the Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk and was greeted by a nice SMS, welcoming her to the hotel and letting her know that if she required any assistance, they would only be one text away. Here’s when she decided to make a little bit of a cheeky request. She asked for a framed picture of Nicolas Cage on her bed by 6, specifically one from Con Air. Getting what seemed like an automatically generated response, she continued about her day, thinking that her joke was not appreciated.
When she got back to her room, she was surprised to find that something magical had happened in her absence. Ramon had delivered.
“However, I got punched right in the giggle d*ck when I got back to my room to find this majestic hunk in all his glory, waiting for me in bed.”
This made our anonymous protagonist very happy, she said “Of course, I’m giving this hotel 5 stars on every goddamned review site there is.” But then she thought, why not see if the staff is having as much fun as she was. She decided to ask for another representation of Nicolas Cage’s visage. Something a bit more classic, Nicolas Cage from Moonstruck.
All seemed well and our Nicolas Cage loving hero went about her day once again, but to her shock, there was no Nicolas Cage photo in sight at the bathroom. So she proceeded to text the team asking why there was no photo or bath towels. Were they just annoyed?
They made a mistake, god knows even Nic Cage makes mistakes. I mean, look at his choices of movies. Miss Anonymous went off to her business dinner and by the time she returned, they had delivered the towels.
“And I came back to the room to warm towels and this hottie.”
She didn’t want to stop there though. She decided to make one last request on her last day of the hotel. She wanted a photo of Nicolas Cage from 8mm “to complete [her] collection.” The staff thought it was a good choice.
They of course delivered, but they also went the #KOExtraMile and delivered an extra photo of Mr. Cage from Vampire’s Kiss.
