It seems as if the world is going through a bit of a shakeup at the moment; an ‘awakening’ if you will. It’s like now is the perfect time to declutter – mentally, physically, and emotionally – and start afresh, focusing your energy on what really matters.
We’re halfway through 2020 and I’m fairly certain each and every one of you deserves a shiny gold participation medal.
The shakeup that has happened; both at work and home, has served as a powerful reminder about the resilience that each of us holds, deep within us.
It has also raised all kinds of profound questions, that trigger thoughts, ripples, and waves of change – for better or for worse.
So here are some questions to ponder on and ask yourself, what do I want my work and personal life to look like, heading into this ‘new normal’?
Personal energy and beliefs

Do I have a passion for my work?
Do I have a sense of purpose in my life?
Do I have power when it comes to designing my future?
Do I fragment my energy, rather on focusing on what I feel is most important?
Do I acknowledge and accept my emotions?
Do I allow myself guilt-free time to relax and have fun?
Environmental factors

Is my work and living space an environment I feel happy and inspired in?
Do I keep stuff I no longer need or have use for?
Am I respectful and responsible when I travel?
Do I act consciously and do my part in taking care of the planet?

Financials

Am I living and working within my means?
Am I spending my money with companies that I believe in?
Do I support small, local businesses?
Do I have unnecessary debt?
Am I being financially rewarded for the work I do?
Am I creating more value in other people’s lives?
Relationships

Are my relationships the most meaningful and enjoyable part of my life?
Do I spend enough time nurturing the relationships that really matter?
Is my relationship with myself happy and healthy?
Am I authentic and honest in my relationships?
Do I treat my clients with compassion and respect?
Health

Is my body as strong and fit as I want it to be?
Am I conscious of and in control of the foods I put in myself body?
Do I spend enough time in nature?
Do I keep hydrated and take regular ‘brain breaks’ when at my desk?
Do I speak to myself and others with kindness?
