1. Luxurious floating villas
High-end floating villas are a new extravagant residential concept designed by BMT Asia Pacific.
The concept is called ‘SeaScape’ and is a coastal living concept that would feature an exclusive neighborhood of luxurious floating modular villas allowing hotels to install the luxury floating villas anywhere in the world.
Right now SeaScape is jus a concept but could change the way hotel developers regard luxury coastal accommodations.
2. Gourmet Airplane Menu
Qatar Airways has teamed up with globally-established chefs Nobu Matsuhisa and Vineet Bhatia to revamp their Business Class menu.
The new menu will make any foodie smile including braised lamb shank with chickpea and saffron sauce as well as Arabic spiced prawns with machboos sauce, rice and fried onions and nuts.
Business Class passengers will also be treated to first-class bubbles in the shape of Salmon Brut champagne.
3. Pet-friendly airport terminal
A dog is a man’s best friend they say and at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport the furry little friends will have their own dedicated area.
This is the first of its kind in the world and will offer luxury pamper facilities including a nail trimming salon and even ‘hotel suites’ for your four-legged friends whilst they wait patiently for their flights.
4.Hotel provides guests with Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones
Hotel guests at The Peninsula hotel in New York will be provided with the trendy Dr. Dr headphones as a complimentary amenity.
The hotel guests will find a Beats menu card in each room and will be able to order the noise-cancelling headphones to be delivered to the room on a silver platter.
