Qantas’ Dream of WA Sale has half-price flights to WA in partnership with Tourism Western Australia, offering return fares from Australia’s east coast to Perth from $350pp or one-way flights from $175pp for travel booked before 15 September 2022.
The airfare sale is part of Tourism Western Australia’s new ‘Walking On A Dream’ brand, which encourages visitors to immerse themselves in otherworldly landscapes throughout the state.
The brand campaign harnesses the star power of Empire of the Sun’s 2008 hit Walking on a Dream, featuring WA-born singer Luke Steele.
Qantas Group Chief Customer Officer Stephanie Tully said the airline is excited to work with Tourism WA to inspire travellers to explore Perth and beyond, offering more than 150 WA flights weekly.
“Since the reopening of the Western Australia border earlier this year, we have seen strong demand for our flights across the Nullarbor from leisure travellers,” she said.
“WA has some truly terrific experiences from swimming with whale sharks to visiting the pink salt lakes and the famous Margaret River wine region.
“With thousands of these special sale fares in the market, we hope to stimulate travel to Western Australia alongside the new Tourism Western Australia brand.”
Speaking to the Qantas and Tourism WA partnership, WA Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism Roger Cook said: “The initiative will help bring thousands of visitors across the country to experience the wonders of our state as we launch our new global tourism campaign, Walking On A Dream.”
