“The sport has allowed me to slip into the heart of many different cultures, foods and natural wonders that not many other people every get to experience. It’s helped me break through the boundaries of religion, race and status and into the equal world of love honesty and people being exactly that; people,” says Chris.

BASE jumping was spawned from skydiving. Jumps are generally made from much lower altitudes than skydives. Also part of the thrillseeking sport family is wingsuiting.

“BASE jumping has shown me that nothing is impossible and you are only limited by your imagination and comfort zone.”

To enter the sport of BASE jumping most instructors suggest a minimum of 200 skydives and the completion of a specialised course. For more information on BASE jumping on entering the sport, visit www.learntobasejump.com or www.basedreams.com/coaching where you can contact Chris directly.
