Brisbane Airport raises the bar: New brewery, distillery & beer garden now open at Skygate precinct

Visitors and locals can look forward to 32 4 Pines Brewing Co. draught taps, including the core range, plus two rotating taps of bespoke Brisbane limited-release beers brewed on site.

Pines Brewing Co. GM Todd Atkinson said: “4 Pines Brewing Landers Pocket isn’t your average pub – it’s part of a one-of-a-kind entertainment quarter with the freshest beer brewed on site, great food, good vibes and something for everyone.”

Accessible by a free bus from the Domestic and International terminals, Landers Pocket now has an expanded Golf Central driving range as well.

Still to open at the 16ha precinct, which is four times the size of Brisbane’s Howard Smith Wharves, are padel courts, a Kick-n-Catch play zone, a 3,000-capacity amphitheatre and a 1,000-person lawn for events, festivals and pop-ups.

Landers Pocket Managing Director James Cooper said: “Our vision for Landers Pocket is to create a truly unique entertainment destination – a place that celebrates award-winning beer and gin, new-wave golf and elevated dining. This is just the beginning.”

Brisbane Airport EGM Commercial Scott Norris said the new hub caters to Brisbane locals and travellers.

“This vibrant new hub is for everyone, whether you’re touching down, taking off or simply dropping in for an afternoon of sunshine and craft pours in the beer garden,” he said.
