Kadi Luggage researched the inflight alcohol pricing on 10 global budget airlines to determine which carrier delivers the most booze bang for your buck.
So, which LCC offers the happiest hour for your hip pocket at 30,000 feet?
While Scoot placed fifth overall globally, it emerged as the top-ranking budget airline servicing Australia, offering the cheapest inflight booze with beer, wine and spirits all under AUD$12.

With beer priced at just AUD$10.79, wine at AUD411.99, and spirits, including options such as Johnnie Walker Black Label, also at AUD$11.99, Scoot offers one of the lowest-cost drink menus in the sky.
Among LCCs servicing Australia, it delivers the best overall value, making it the top choice for travellers seeking a budget-friendly start to their holiday.

Jetstar Airways and Jetstar Asia rounded out the top three Aussie-bound budget airlines for inflight booze with pricing coming in under AUD$15.
With Jetstar Asia winding up operations on 31 July 2025, that leaves just Scoot and Jetstar for the cheapest inflight alcohol options on Australian routes.

Global cheapest inflight booze list
European carriers, such as Iberia Express (Spain), Transavia France, and Vueling Airlines (Spain), dominated the top of the global rankings for inflight drink affordability.
Spain’s Volotea (4) and Singapore’s Scoot (5) were also in the top five airlines offering the best value happy hour in the sky.
Chile’s SKY Airline (6), UK’s Jet2.com (7), Jetstar Asia (8), Ryanair (9) and Jetstar Airways rounded out the global top 10 rankings for affordable onboard alcoholic beverages.
