Not just catering for the ladies when it comes to sipping in style; a sophisticated cocktail and spirit selection is on offer at Primus Hotel Sydney’s perfect Gentlemen’s Club, including the ‘Godfather’ cocktail made with Amaretto and American Whisky and our Friday Cocktail, the ‘339 Julip,  encompassing American Whisky, yuzu juice, agave nectar, lemon and mint.

Ingredients:

60 ml *American Whiskey

20 ml yuzu juice

15 ml agave nectar

2 slices of lemon

2 sprigs of mint

 

Method:

Shake 60 ml of American Whiskey with 20 ml of yuzu juice, 2 slices of lemon, 2 sprigs of mint and 15 ml of agave nectar with ice

Served in a pre-chilled glass filled with crushed ice. Squeeze lemon zest to sprinkle lemon oil on top of the glass.  Garnish with lemon peel and mint

 

Taste note:  Citrus, mint and caramel on the nose with a hint of spice

Refreshing mint with toasted spice and butterscotch on palate with a kick of citrus

Disregarding the customary sweet delicacies and dainty sandwiches, the no-nonsense high tea menu offers a gastronomic array of savoury favourites.

Whether it’s a novel way to impress clients at a meeting or a new location other than the neighbourhood watering hole to catch up with friends, The G’N’ Tea, served in the hotel’s soaring Art Deco lobby is sure to impress.

Served beneath the hotel’s eight-metre high marble columns and sweeping glass sky-well, guests are reverted to an era of 1930’s theatrical glamour.

Available every day from 3pm-5pm, prices start at $45 with the option to include a glass of Chandon or beer for $55 or a flute of Veuve Clicquot or cocktail for $65.
