Want a great gift for your mates overseas? Send them the best coffee liqueur in the world, which just happens to be Australian.
Mr Black has had an interesting start so far. It took six months, 300 iterations and blending coffee from three continents, all in a small shed by two blokes in Australia.
All the hard work paid off, picking up a Gold Medal at the London International Wine & Spirits Competition and taking the title of ‘World’s Best Coffee Liqueur’. Catering to a nation of coffee connoisseurs and recognizing that Aussies have never been shy of a tipple, MR BLACK is the brainchild of Phillip Moore and Tom Baker, two men in a shed, who used crowd-funding website ‘Pozible’ to turn their idea in to a reality in 2013.
“Our coffee liqueur has always had a great little cult following, but it’s great to see it get into the hands of more drinkers around Australia.”
Distiller, Phillip Moore
