Cordis Hong Kong recently opened its doors making it the first of a new generation of curated upscale hotels by Langham Hospitality Group.

Part of the new rebrand and launch is the new Club Lounge situated on the 36th floor offering a stunning view of the vibrant city.

The bar serves a wide selection of drinks

This is a haven for anyone looking for a ‘home away from home’ whilst travelling. Perfect for busy business travellers as well as leisure travellers.

The Club Lounge is open from 6.30am to 12.00am daily and the guests can enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, sweet treats and a night cap.

The entire lounge has complimentary wifi which is perfect if you are looking to connect and get work done.

The breakfast buffet is great with a chef preparing an array of different omelettes (and scrambled eggs of course).

Fussy Aussie coffee drinkers will be pleased to know that the coffee in the Club Lounge is outstanding.

The breakfast is beautifully displayed on the 36th floor

The dining area has a modern and stylish look but the highlight of the Club Lounge are the incredibly helpful and friendly members of staff. I was provided with underground maps, shopping and local food tips.

When I asked about the full moon celebrations currently taking place in the city a friendly member of staff went out of his way to go and print out of the festival activities including information on how to get there as well as the history of the festivities.

Traditional moon cake for afternoon tea

After a busy day exploring the city, guests can enjoy afternoon tea with scones, cakes and sandwiches followed by evening cocktails whilst watching the skyline lit up in the dark.

The Club Lounge doesn’t just provide food and drinks, guests also receive additional services such as;

  • Unlimited wifi in the hotel room
  • Usage of iPads at the lounge
  • Complimentary use of the rooftop swimming pool as well as the Fitness Centre
  • Complimentary 30 minutes per any 60-minue Chuan Spa treatment
