Hendrick's Gin supports the weird and wonderful at the Spectrum Now Festival

The Abandoned Circus made an appearance at The Sydney Morning Herald Spectrum Now Festival last week, and I’m still trying to process what I saw.

Okay, it wasn’t really that bad. It was actually extremely entertaining, with fire twirlers, human blockheads, and other circus performances.

It was a true spectacle of the weird and eccentric, of the slightly unnerving and just down-right bizarre. And KarryOn were lucky enough to attend the event, held at The Domain in Sydney’s CBD.

Ever the supporter of eccentric and otherworldly wonders, Hendrick’s Gin – the much-loved premium gin – was happy to lend its support at this year’s festival, treating punters to frosty Hendrick’s G&Ts, with a cucumber, of course.

They also gave away samples of a custom created cucumber sorbet, designed to savour with a wondrous tipple of Hendricks Gin & tonic.

Along with with live circus performances by the Abandoned Circus, punters in the Hendrick’s corner at the festival could also get their hair cut, check out some magic, get inked, and hear some folksy live music.

Hendrick’s Gin will grace the Spectrum Now Festival until 13 March 2016.

When was the last time you had a frosty G&T?
