Luke Mangan, the Aussie chef and restauranteur, is a name known all over the world, from Sydney to Jakarta to Tokyo.

And by recently teaming up with P&O Cruises to launch Salt grill, Mangan’s specialty restaurant exclusive to the Pacific Jewel, Pacific Dawn and Pacific Pearl ships – including the Pacific Aria – cruisers are now able to dine on some of the best food available on land, at sea.

“I want to create an intimate restaurant that passengers will enjoy so much it’ll be one of the highlights of their holiday.”

At Salt grill, Luke serves up his signature dishes, such as Crab Omelette, Enoki Mushroom Salad and Miso Broth and the infamous Liquorice Parfait with Lime Syrup.

Tianli Zu, the 2015 Archibald Prize finalist and the woman behind the hotel’s New Year installation, was also in attendance, sharing her thoughts on her latest installation – the Lunar Lanterns: The Ox installation at Martin Place.
