Travelling to London and looking for hidden local gems?

Launched in May this year, SideStory is a unique concept where local artists, stylists and foodies are getting together to offer guided city tours of London taking participants to the best galleries, stores, restaurants and art studios.

The guides, or  ‘specialist insiders’ as they are referred to have all been hand-picked for their insider knowledge of their respective fields including art, design, fashion and food.

The tours are priced from GBP 365 per group of four.

2. Borrow a Sassy Sports Car for FREE at Park Hyatt

Thanks to Park Hyatt you can now live the ‘Dolce Vita’ for real, driving around in a luxury sports car in Milan.

The hotel chain has partnered with Abarth, an Italian automaker of the sassy 595 Turismo and the 595 Turismo Cabrio and from August 2015, the guests at the Park Hyatt in Milan will be able to borrow one of two luxury sports cars during their hotel stay – for free!

3. Heart-warming ad for Claremont, California

Claremont is a town of 35,000 people located in the greater Los Angeles area, famous for its antique stores, quirky individuals and picturesque parks perfect for picnics.

The creative agency Wallop Film, who specialises in luxury branding for hotels and restaurants, has produced a film to sell the town’s charm and put the quaint spot on the map.

Ordering food or extra towels is so last season; the new trend is to order the latest contemporary fashion outfits straight to your hotel room.

Virgin Hotels has partnered with Gap to provide fashion deliveries right to your hotel room.

Guests at participating Virgin Hotels are able to use an app to order the garments and get them delivered the same day.

The service was designed for travellers who may need a new outfit for a special occasion but don’t have the time to go shopping themselves.
