Travelling to London and looking for hidden local gems?

Launched in May this year, SideStory is a unique concept where local artists, stylists and foodies are getting together to offer guided city tours of London taking participants to the best galleries, stores, restaurants and art studios.

The guides, or  ‘specialist insiders’ as they are referred to have all been hand-picked for their insider knowledge of their respective fields including art, design, fashion and food.

The tours are priced from GBP 365 per group of four.

Ordering food or extra towels is so last season; the new trend is to order the latest contemporary fashion outfits straight to your hotel room.

Virgin Hotels has partnered with Gap to provide fashion deliveries right to your hotel room.

Guests at participating Virgin Hotels are able to use an app to order the garments and get them delivered the same day.

The service was designed for travellers who may need a new outfit for a special occasion but don’t have the time to go shopping themselves.
