Pack your bags! The Northern Territory Government has announced the return of its biggest incentivised summer tourism campaign, the NT Summer Salewith incredible savings available to fully vaccinated Aussies.

If you’re double jabbed and looking to experience the wonder of Australia ASAP, you’ll be pleased to know that Tourism NT says it will be the first Australian tourism body to offer a vaccine incentive, cementing the NT as the premier COVID-safe travel destination.

As the Northern Territory enters the summer travel season, the Tourism board’s $5 million campaign is set to further entice keen Australian travellers to explore their own backyard and embark on a summer holiday in the Northern Territory, with huge deals and savings on offer.

Guides take guests around the Resort Gardens highlighting the seasonal local flora, bush foods and trees native to Australia.

With the health and safety of Territorians and travellers as the highest priority, Tourism NT says this campaign offers savings of up to $1,000 for vaccinated holiday visitors from non-hotspots, encouraging holiday bookings to the NT while ensuring it keeps the local community safe.

Partnering with trusted Australian travel retailers, including Helloworld, and Holidays of Australia, the campaign offers a discount of up to $1000 on a Northern Territory holiday, allowing vaccinated travellers to save on flights, accommodation, tours, attractions, and vehicle hire.

The savings are based on a set discount of $200 for every $1000 spent on a Northern Territory booking.

The NT Summer Sale, which runs from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, will give travellers the chance to immerse themselves in the Northern Territory’s rich cultural history, an abundance of wildlife, iconic landmarks, and breathtaking scenery.

Tourism NT Executive Director of Marketing Tony Quarmby said the NT was the best place to be this summer.

“Summer is an exciting place in the Northern Territory, and we know there are many people around the country that haven’t had the chance to book a holiday, to experience something new, or go somewhere different.

“With over $2.3 million in savings made during last year’s NT Summer Sale, this is the perfect opportunity to book the trip you’ve been waiting for and explore the Top End and Red Centre at this incredibly rare, low price.

“With the tourism industry heavily impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic and border restrictions we’re encouraging Australians to come to the NT this summer and have the adventure of a lifetime.”
