Encouraging solo travel to distinct destinations in Europe, India, Africa and the Americas, Insight Vacations’ new Women-Only Tours are created by women for women and highlight female-owned enterprises and local traditions on each trip.
A female Travel Director will lead the expertly curated Women-Only Tours, launching with an International Women’s Day (IWD) offer of eight per cent off 2025 tours until 31 May 2024.
The small-group tours comprise 20-24 guests and feature exciting routes with stays in stylish handpicked hotels and meals in top-rated dining spots for stress-free travel.
Additionally, the tour company’s investment in female solo travel has increased with MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences available on each women-only tour.
These experiences support the UN’s official IWD 2024 theme – ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress’ – and allow travellers to support local traditions and female-owned businesses.
On the Country Roads of the Deep South tour in the US, travellers can learn about the women’s civil rights movement from Memphis local specialist Elaine Turner, an educator, activist, entrepreneur and historian.
The Country Roads of Italy tour features a female-owned and -run weaving association in Perugia, while the Best of Morocco itinerary includes a baking class at a women’s cooperative empowering women to become professional chefs.
There’s also a new Facebook group – Insight Vacations Women-Only Travel Community – for women to discuss travel and share tips.
