Rejoice festival fanatics! The European music festival experience may soon become a whole lot more comfy if Nearby Hostel – the world’s first mobile hostel – reaches its investment goals on IndieGoGo.
Still in the early stages of fundraising, unfortunately this dream is not yet a reality, but when the Croatian firm finally reaches its investment goals – and yes, I’m tipping they surely will – is set to revolutionise the music festival experience once and for all.
How so, you ask?
Well, where do we start…
The Nearby Hostel will feature comfortable beds, clean toilets – including eco-friendly showers, a television, a fridge and even Wi-Fi, all inside a portable shipping container that’s set to make its rounds through the European circuit, visiting key festivals such as Ultra Music Europe, Exit Festival, Sziget Festival and others across Europe.
Each container will include upwards of 14 beds, air conditioning and heating, a private locker and a welcome cup of coffee in the morning.
Plus, festival goers won’t be burdened with the task of setting up and then taking down their tents – more time for partying!
