Explore some of Australia’s most rugged and remote regions with Travelmarvel’s brand-new Kimberley & Outback Queensland by 4WD 2023 holiday program, a selection of small-group journeys in custom off-road vehicles accompanied by an expert driver-guide.
The five new 4WD itineraries range from seven to 12 days and include three Kimberley tours with the option to extend with pre-or post-accommodation at Oaks Broome.
The 12-day Wonders of the Kimberley by 4WD journey is the signature tour of the program, comprising a cruise along the Fitzroy River, a walk to Emma Gorge, hiking to Mitchell Falls hike and a visit to view the ancient rock art at the Mitchell Plateau plus overnight stays at Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodges.

Off-road trippers to outback Queensland can venture on the seven-day Cape York and Tropical North by 4WD tour through the lush North Queensland rainforest and the Gulf Savannah Discovery by 4WD journey, an eight-day small-group trip that includes a sunset dinner cruise in Karumba and a visit to the Undara Lava Tubes.
Travelmarvel product manager Cher Lontok designed the Kimberley and Outback Queensland itineraries to entice Aussies to explore more of their backyard.
“We are excited to release these Queensland itineraries again for 2023 and extend our new Travelmarvel Outback program into the Kimberley,” Ms Lontok said.
Travelmarvel’s epic 4WD journeys are geared for a maximum of just 20 guests with custom-built vehicles for a more personalised and comfortable on-road experience and premium accommodation.
