The success and achievements of Accor’s growing franchise network of over 70 hotels was celebrated at the fourth annual Accor Pacific Franchise Awards, held last night.
The Accor Pacific Franchise Awards have become a prestigious event on the Accor event calendar recognising the outstanding hotel performance of franchise hotels across Australia and New Zealand as well as individuals for their services of excellence. Chief Operating Officer Accor Pacific, Simon McGrath was joined by Vice President Operations Franchise and Strata Hotels, Dino Mezzatesta, to present the eight major awards to Accor’s top performing franchise hotels.

Mercure Centro Port Macquarie was crowned Accor Pacific Franchise of the Year 2014, and also took home the midscale brand award for Mercure of the Year.
General Manager of ibis Styles Melbourne The Victoria Hotel, Peter Barker, collected the highly coveted General Manager of the Year award which recognises a leader who adopts Accor’s values of Innovation, Respect, Trust, Spirit of Conquest and Performance. The hotel claimed the prize for ibis Styles of the Year in the brand category for the second consecutive year.
Novotel Rockford Darling Harbour received the Franchise Loyalty Award thanks to its highly successful engagement with Accor’s loyalty programs Le Club Accorhotels and Accor Advantage Plus.
