A lucky group of Travel Counsellor agents were flown to Florida for a famil to experience the timeless magic of Disney World.
Around 20 TC’s and one UK head office BD, from six of our operating countries participated in the famil that saw them spending time inspecting accommodation options and enjoying the wide range of entertainment, shopping and dining experiences on offer.

Staying seven nights in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, the group got to experience everything this massive resort is known for.
From the impressive nightly laser and fireworks show, to the thrills and spills of Blizzard Beach Water Park, the nostalgia of the Magic Kingdom theme park and signature dining experiences at a range of top quality cafes and restaurants, the agents were treated to an action-packed itinerary filled with fun, adventure and discovery.
“Spending seven whole nights at our base at the Grand Floridian resort was a great way to get to know the Disney brand.”
Kate Trickett, Travel Counsellor of Victoria
“While many famils involve lots of travel time, this one didn’t, so we were able to truly get to know the resort by using the facilities, eating at the cafes and restaurants, and checking out the various theme parks which were all within stone’s throw of the resort – although the VIP tours and transfers helped.”
David Hughes, Managing Director of Travel Counsellors Australia believes the charms of Disney offer good opportunities for many types of travellers.
“As a powerful brand the appeal of Disney is wide. Disney World offers a great opportunity for multi-generational travellers – grandparents travelling with grandkids and parents taking their own children on their annual holidays,” he said.
“I’m glad that a number of Travel Counsellors got to experience the magic of Disney on this famil trip.
“It will no doubt assist them in selling Disney travel products to their clients in the future, but their firsthand knowledge will also be shared throughout the network which will help other Travel Counsellors to sell Disney World as a destination too.”
