Qantas has dropped its latest international Red Tail Sale with discounted fares from Australia to New Zealand on sale until 4 June 2024 for travel between June 2024 and April 2025 with flights available from most capital cities.
It’s the airline’s third international sale since April 2024, which also saw the debut of the new Classic Plus reward seats available for Qantas Points and cash via the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
The Classic Plus Flight Rewards will offer more than 20 million extra reward seats, allowing Frequent Flyers to take advantage of more flight availability during peak times and require fewer booking points than Classic reward seats.
Classic Plus seats vary like commercial fares, which means the points required to book these reward seats drop during sales periods.
Over half of the discounted NZ sale routes are eligible as Classic Plus reward seats with sale fares to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
Discounted return Economy fares from Australia to New Zealand start from AUD$549 for Sydney to Auckland, while return Brisbane-Wellington flights in Economy start from $569.
Qantas Economy return fares from Melbourne to Christchurch or Queenstown start from $569.
South Australians can fly Adelaide to Auckland return in Economy from $669 and WA travellers can book a return Economy flight from Perth to Wellington from $1,099.
