First off, discover the dynamic charm of Boston and unearth its treasures beyond its history. Begin with The Freedom Trail’s 16 historic gems, from Old North Church to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and then immerse yourself in culture at the Museum of Fine Arts or Museum of Science. For a spot of shopping, make a beeline for Newbury Street and Copley Place and soak in South Boston’s vibrant scene – make sure you bring your credit card! Next, drive along the scenic New England coast and make your first stop at Salem. Then, continue on to Maine, where Ogunquit is as beautiful as its name suggests. Walk the Marginal Way or twirl through quaint buildings before heading to Kennebunkport on the Atlantic Ocean and Kennebunk River. Settled in the 1600s, it is a historic ship building mecca, home to many mansions built by prosperous sea captains.
