Giving ALDI a (black) run for its money, Coles has launched its own range of great-value alpine essentials online in time for the ski season. Outfitting a family of four for just $850, the supermarket chain is aiming to offer the most affordable ski gear for Aussies.

Now available online only for a limited time, the Coles Best Buy Ski Ready range includes more than 50 items geared for the snow from waterproof jackets, pants, goggles and helmets through to Aline skis for $899.

Partnering with the Decathlon brand, the line offers a complete collection of affordable ski staples for adults and kids with accessories such as ski gloves from $19, apparel from $29 and ski poles from $69 – perfect for families after a budget-friendly way to hit the slopes this winter.

And forget queuing, customers can order online and have their ski essentials delivered straight to their door with free delivery across the entire range.

Coles General Manager for Health and Home Deb Galle said Coles is excited to be launching its first-ever ski sale exclusively on the Coles Best Buys website.

“Aussie families can deck out their family of four with high-quality gear including apparel, helmets, goggles and gloves for just $850, taking the pressure off some of the costs associated with a trip to the snow,” she said.

“Functionality and warmth are top priorities for a snow trip, so it was important for us to offer an affordable and accessible range from a trusted and well-known brand like Decathlon.”
