A new study by Club Med has revealed the most instagrammable and luxurious train trips from around the globe.

After rounding the best luxury train destinations in terms of reviews, ticket price and sights you’ll see – they also pulled social rankings from both Instagram and Pinterest.

Club Med then gave each of these data values a score, which they then added up for the final index score. The index score is out of a total of 100.

The Ghan is ranked as the fourth most instagrammable train journey, as well as the fourth most luxurious train in the world.

The Indian Pacific is ranked as the ninth most Instagrammable train journey, and the eleventh most luxury train in the world. 

The views of the desert, goldfields and rocky valleys provide a feast for the eyes whilst aboard this journey, so make sure you have your camera on you at all times!
