Louisa Seton, a Sydney-based photographer who was born in Kenya, recently travelled to Ethiopia where she met with members of the Surma and Hamer people.

Here are some of her epic photographers of these people who sport some of the most extreme forms of body art in the world.

Children of the Suri Tribe.

This tribe brew sorghum beer, which is actually quite a lethal concoction when consumed in vast quantities.

Along with the women, children of this tribe decorate themselves with white clay.
