KarryOn teamed up with Rezdy to scour through the Rezdy Marketplace to list (and even try some out) some of the quirkiest tours and activities available for Agents to sell.
Here’s what we found:
1. Solve murders right in the heart of Sydney
Have you heard of Escape Hunt yet? It’s amazing. I can tell you first hand that this is not only an opportunity for holidaymakers to really get to know their travel companion (being locked inside a room tends to show people’s true colours), but also absorb some of Sydney’s rich history in a fun and interactive way.
It’s like a murder mystery but much more involved because Escape Hunt requires friends, families and workmates to put their problem solving skills to the test in themed rooms.
It’s ideal for competitive people who like to solve problems or those looking for a creative and inexpensive activity.
2. Want to smash a whole lot of stuff?
Stressed? Want to blow off some steam? Why not break stuff, a whole lot of stuff!
The Break Room in Collingwood, Melbourne literally allows people to go inside one of its rooms (wearing safety gear of course) and literally smash the sh#t out of the things inside.
Using a bat, they can beat into a plates, wine glasses, cups and even a carafe.
Sounds a little like a Greek wedding, but aggressive.
3. Swim like The Little Mermaid
It’s like ‘a whole new world’, sorry, wrong Disney movie.
Ariel may have wanted to be part of our world, but now humans can join The Little Mermaid ‘under the sea’ at No Ripples’ Mermaid Fitness for Adults in Maroubra, NSW.
This new fitness trend is not only great for people looking for new water experiences, but also those looking for a fun, new way to keep fit.
4. Horses & wine
Horseback and wine – two words that don’t sound particularly safe together but do manage to deliver a truly unique way to experience an Aussie winery.
