Do you watch The Amazing Race thinking “yeah, I could totally win this show?”.

Well, it got even more exciting this week, when Australia’s beloved Rail Journey, the Ghan featured on the epic travel TV show.

The first team to arrive at the Alice Springs railway station bagged themselves a stay at Sails in the Desert and a Sounds of Silence dinner, thanks to Voyages.

If you didn’t get enough of a Ghan fix in this episode, no worries, because the rail journey is going to be featured on the next one too.

Contestants will have to think their way out of a cabin lockdown. Talk about ‘cabin fever’.

Paul Stewart reviews the Ghan

One of Dennis Bunnik’s grounded aviation friends, Paul Stewart, recently travelled on the Ghan and has made a very informative video review on his experience.

The video would be great for training staff and also sharing with clients to help the sale.

Paul travelled on the Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin via Alice Springs and Katherine.

The 4k video shows the full experience onboard including the food and drink, footage of the train and the off-train experiences at Simpson’s Gap in Alice Springs and the Katherine Gorge.
