One simple connection

EVA Air’s non-stop flights from Brisbane to Taipei unlock an extensive network across Asia, as well as onward connections to Europe and North America.
With one check-in and one seamless connection in Taipei, you could be waking up in Tokyo, touching down in London, or heading straight to the sights in New York.
For Aussie travellers, EVA Air forges an easy path to favourite Asian destinations, like Osaka, Seoul, Beijing, Bangkok, and Hanoi. Fares are competitive to Japan and Europe via Taipei, sweetening the decision to holiday to those must-see hotspots.
Furthern afield, the Taiwanese airline connects you to major gateways across Europe and North America. Whether it’s a white Christmas in Vienna, a summer tour around Europe’s best hotspots, or a business trip to the US, there’s an easy connection and affordable fare to suit.

While you can, of course, head straight to your intended destination, if time allows, it’s a no-brainer to add a day or two to explore such a culturally rich island with nature, cuisine, and modernity at its core. It’s the perfect pause between long-haul legs, a bonus mini break before rejoining your journey.
Let’s not forget that Taiwan is a compelling destination in its own right. From fabulous aromas at the city’s famous night markets to ancient temples, serene teahouses, and lush mountain trails, there’s so much to see and do.

Fly more frequently this summer
Hot news from EVA Air: from 2 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, an additional Tuesday service will operate from Brisbane. This means more excuses to jet off to Taipei and beyond, especially as the Tuesday service will feature the airline’s 4th-generation Premium Economy cabin.
This is in addition to the airline’s regular Monday, Thursday, and Saturday departures, leaving Brisbane at 10:35 pm, landing early the next morning in Taipei (at 5:05 am) ready for whatever the day brings.
For travellers juggling school holidays, annual leave workarounds, and peak-season fares, the extra frequency and upgraded comfort make all the difference.
Consistency in every cabin

EVA Air’s 5-star reputation is consistent across all cabin classes – something that matters when you’re spending hours in the air. Boeing 787-9 fly the route, offering three cabin classes. Check out the seat configurations here.

It’s a space designed equally for sleep and productivity, with a refined dining service, complemented by international wines.
In Business Class, noise-cancelling headphones make it easy to switch off, tune out, and immerse fully in the entertainment on offer.
Premium Economy
Premium Economy has become a sweet spot for value-conscious Aussies who want room to stretch out without the Business Class price tag. EVA Air’s Premium Economy class features a generous 42-inch seat pitch – the world’s most spacious – along with, extra legroom, a deeper recline, and enhanced amenities compared to Economy Class.
Economy
In Economy, ergonomically designed seats, adjustable headrests and individual seat-back screens keep things comfortable with ample distractions for the nine-hour flight to Taipei.
Across all cabins, EVA Air’s in-flight entertainment includes Hollywood blockbusters, Asian cinema, TV series, music, and games.

A taste of Taiwan

Your first introduction to Taiwan’s legendary food culture is at 35,000 feet with EVA Air’s thoughtfully curated menus.
In Business Class, meals are an elevated affair, with multi-course dining from world-renowned chefs. Think fragrant braised noodle soup, delicate dumplings, and award-winning lychee and strawberry bread.
Economy class passengers flying from Brisbane to Taipei receive a supper and breakfast hot meal, along with juices, soda, teas, wine, and traditional snacks. It’s easy to pre-order special meals, from vegan to gluten-free and kosher.
EVA Air’s commitment to sharing a first bite of Taiwanese culture in the air – long before you’ve even seen the city lights – is part of why they are so popular.
