If you’re also a little guilty of pigeon-holing New Zealand by its seasons, you’re going to love the thoughtfully crafted 100% Pure New Zealand campaign tools and resources to turn your clients’ curiosity into bookings.

Here’s what you can access:

  • Campaign toolkit: Forget feeling overwhelmed about how to promote trips across the Tasman by using resources in the new campaign toolkit. Discover compelling messaging and stunning visuals, plus social-ready content, such as ready-to-use reels and banners.
  • Wall planner: If you’re like us and you forget every major holiday until it’s upon you (hello King’s birthday weekend), then you’re going to 100% want to print out the wall planner to align client itineraries with key New Zealand events. If you don’t know Matariki (the Māori New Year) is in winter, or that Toast Martinborough is a summer shindig, or that the World of Wearable Art (WOW) is in spring, this is a must to download.
  • Video playlist: While a trip to New Zealand is an ideal way to experience the Land of the Long White Cloud (more on how you can do that later), it’s near impossible to see it all. Having access to informative training videos for unforgettable North and South Island experiences, activities and attractions is the very next best thing!

Discover this for yourself when you access Tourism New Zealand’s dedicated trade website.

Your clients who 100% love to do their own research before they come to you will be obsessed with the planning tool on Tourism New Zealand’s consumer website. It’s such a handy way to narrow down a “New Zealand trip” (very broad, so many options) to something more tangible (wine trails, for example).

The best bit? With a click of a button, they can forward their dream experiences, regions or themes to you!

Inspiring year-round

New Zealand

Whether it’s dining on incredible food and wine in Kaikōura, hitting the ski fields near Queenstown or experiencing the power of a pōwhiri (traditional Māori welcome) in Rotorua, inspiration is seemingly at every turn.

Here are a few highlights to consider:

  • Hapuku Lodge + Tree Houses, Kaikōura: With a passion for quality food and wine (yum), the owners of Hapuku Lodge + Tree Houses take pride in sourcing local produce. Just north of Kaikōura, a visit is ideal year-round, though winter is excellent for stargazing from their unique Tree House balcony.
  • Punakaiki Pancake Rocks & Blow Holes, West Coast: See just how dramatic the New Zealand landscape can get at the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks & Blow Holes. The spectacular ocean views, curious pancake-shaped rocks, and water shooting high into the air make this a must-visit stop when visiting the West Coast.
  • Mt Hutt Ski Field, Canterbury: Skiers, snowboarders and snow-play enthusiasts love Mt Hutt Ski Field for its impressive snowfall and accessibility to Christchurch. In an easy two hours, Australian travellers can hit the slopes, go tobogganing or enjoy a dip in New Zealand’s highest-altitude spa.
  • Milford Sound, Fiordland: Your clients can discover why Rudyard Kipling called Milford Sound the “eighth wonder of the world” on a day or overnight cruise. Whether a crisp bluebird day or ensconced in moody fog, there’s no bad time to experience Milford Sound’s thundering waterfalls.
  • National Kiwi Hatchery, Rotorua: Your clients can observe adult kiwi year-round at the National Kiwi Hatchery. However, for the best chance to see kiwi chicks, we recommend a visit from September to March.
  • Hump Ridge Track, Fiordland: This spectacular loop walk in Fiordland National Park offers stunning views of beaches, forests and mountains. There are three package options for tramping between October and April. Book them on the Tuatapere Hump Ridge Charitable Trust website.
  • Hell’s Gate Geothermal Reserve & Mud Spa, Rotorua: For a unique geothermal experience where the earth boils, mud heals, and steam disappears into the clouds, suggest Hell’s Gate. The rejuvenating mud baths, sulphur spas, and cool plunge are only five minutes from Rotorua Airport.
  • Te Pā Tū, Rotorua: For an immersive evening in Māori culture, history, and traditions through kai (food) and celebration, encourage your clients to visit Te Pā Tū. Between May and October, Tū Te Ihi is a celebration of winter and Matariki, the Māori New Year.
  • Dive! Tutukaka, Northland: New Zealand’s largest PADI dive operator Dive! Tutukaka offers diving, snorkelling and sightseeing trips to the Poor Knights Islands. Only 40 minutes from Whangārei, Dive! Tutukaka welcomes visitors year-round, though summer is ideal for warmer waters and the best conditions above and below the waves.
