Tahiti Tourisme invites travellers to ‘Treasure Every Moment’ in its latest worldwide marketing campaign, which includes a series of cinematic videos designed to immerse viewers in this South Pacific destination and inspire travel to the idyllic island paradise.
The ‘Treasure Every Moment’ campaign will introduce viewers to a different side of The Islands of Tahiti beyond the overwater bungalows of Bora Bora and into the heart of the destination.
While romance, exceptional hotels and crystal-clear waters are in abundance, the new campaign delves into the essence of the destination.
It aims to reveal a paradise where all types of travellers can discover and treasure every moment of simple pleasures, endless adventures, ancient culture and authentic connections.
The campaign videos showcase The Islands of Tahiti’s local life, sustainability initiatives, diverse landscapes and range of activities on offer.
Through vicariously experiencing the true Tahiti, travellers are invited to treasure every moment, no matter how small or seemingly mundane.
Welcoming just 236,000 visitors in 2019, Tahiti Tourisme CEO Jean-Marc Mocellin said The Islands of Tahiti are far from a mass tourism destination.
“And that’s partially what makes it such a special place where authentic connections with locals and their culture are possible,” he said.
“Tahiti Tourisme is thrilled to see our latest global campaign roll out to showcase the incredible diversity of our destination.
“This is reflected in the uncrowded and pristine environments in our new campaign video along with many other compelling destination secrets.”
Sustainability plans

The new campaign follows several major announcements, most notably the release of a new tourism strategic plan, Fāri’ira’a Manihini (FM27).
One key pillar is to cap visitation, projected to be 280,000 by 2027, to achieve a goal ratio of one inhabitant to one visitor.
