Vietnam has never been closer or more affordable for Aussie travellers. With Vietjet’s expanding network, great-value fares, and flexible options across Economy, Deluxe, SkyBoss and Business Class, it’s no surprise that more Australians are saying yes to Vietnam and beyond.

Vietnam has never been closer or more affordable for Aussie travellers. With Vietjet’s expanding network, great-value fares, and flexible options across Economy, Deluxe, SkyBoss and Business Class, it’s no surprise that more Australians are saying yes to Vietnam and beyond.

With six direct routes from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth to Ho Chi Minh City, and Sydney and Melbourne to Hanoi, it’s never been easier for Aussies to get to Vietnam…Or more affordable, as every day is a low-cost ticket day with Vietjet!

Vietnam – A popular travel destination

Vietjet’s arrival in Australia in 2023 has been as warm and welcoming as the famous hospitality visitors enjoy from Vietnamese locals.

According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, visitor numbers are up, placing Australians seventh in their top 10 countries travelling to see the country’s innumerable attractions.

Even for the first three months of this year, we’re saying Vâng (yes please) to Vietnam. Our arrivals were up 11%, with 147,000 visitors heading to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and beyond.

This rise in popularity coincides with Vietjet’s expanding network; they’ve added 20 new routes in the past year alone.

This brings their destination tally to 145 routes: 101 international and 44 domestic routes in Vietnam. This includes their new route to Phu Quoc, known for its pristine beaches and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Airline Ratings again named Vietjet as the World’s Best Ultra Low-Cost Carrier in 2025, and among the world’s safest Low-Cost carriers in 2025. They awarded them seven stars – the highest possible rating – for their commitment to safety.

The inevitable conclusion to all of this? There’s never been a better time to visit Vietnam and beyond!
