AmaWaterways joins Virtuoso in Australia and New Zealand

The luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways is welcomed to the ANZ Virtuoso network, after its launch announcement at the recent Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas.

Travel advisors in Australia and New Zealand will have immediate access to make reservations for their clients on all of AmaWaterways’ river cruise and land packages departing from January 2025 onwards. 

The family owned-and-operated AmaWaterways currently cruises in Vietnam, Cambodia, Southern Africa, Egypt, Colombia and throughout Europe, on 29 custom-designed ships. 

Virtuoso’s partnership with the river cruise operator began in the US in 2010, and now spans North and South America, Asia and Europe. This expansion into the Australian and New Zealand markets will open Virtuoso member access to global commercials, tailored guest offerings that resonate with the regional market and enhanced consumer marketing initiatives. 

Virtuoso members will benefit from extended access to the Virtuoso Voyages program in region, with the ability to offer exclusive benefits to their clients, including a dedicated onboard host and a choice of an additional benefit — ranging in value from $500 per couple to several thousand dollars, depending on the sailing.
