The arrival of Bedsonline in the Australian market means the impending departure of TravelCube, which will integrate into the giant travel brand over the next few weeks.
Bedsonline, a provider of accommodation exclusively for Travel Agents, made its official debut in Australia last week, during a series of industry events.
Attendees were given the opportunity to see the travel company’s new brand identity and website before hearing how the union with TravelCube will benefit consultants and their clients.
Advantages of the merger, according to Peter Jones, Bedsonline’s Regional Sales Manager for the Pacific, are access to a diverse portfolio of 180,000 hotels globally, 24,000 transfer routes, 18,000 activities and 140,000 cars for hire.
Consultants who use the online brand will also have access to 1,000 contractors around the world who offer local knowledge, along with a user-friendly interface featuring flexible search results, as well as intuitive email and PDF functions.
“We feel certain that this [site] will help our Australian Travel Agents to boost both revenues and profits.”

“Whilst we are closing the TravelCube platform to new bookings in the next few weeks our customers should rest assured that they will have full support in accessing existing bookings made via TravelCube to make modifications or cancellations.”
With TravelCube’s departure, all retail Travel Agents will need to make new bookings on the Bedsonline platform – whilst existing bookings will remain accessible and modifiable on the TravelCube platform.
