Sky’s the limit: The world’s tallest hotel opens on 15 November 2025

The world’s tallest hotel is due to open its doors, transporting guests to a vertigo-inducing 377m high. Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG will replace the 356m Gevora Hotel, Dubai as the world’s tallest hotel when it officially opens on 15 November 2025.

And it’s a biggie. The Ciel Dubai Marina has 82 floors and 1,004 rooms and will tower over Dubai Marina with the perfect vantage point of The Palm Jumeirah, Arabian Gulf and the Dubai cityscape from a rooftop infinity pool and bar.

It’s another addition to Dubai’s already impressive collection of record-breaking, sky-high accommodation towers.

The brand-new independent hotel within IHG’s luxury lifestyle Vignette Collection will also break more world records for the world’s highest infinity pool (edging out Address Beach Resort in Dubai) and the world’s highest club.

The three-level Tattu Dubai Asian restaurant includes the eatery on level 74, the Tattu Sky Pool on level 76 and the Tattu Sky Lounge on level 81.

Other new onsite features include Risen Café and Artisanal Bakery, West 13 Mediterranean restaurant, East 14 Asian buffet-style restaurant – part of eight dining destination concepts – plus an Executive Lounge, a luxury spa on level 61 (opening in 2026) and a 24/7 gym.

It will also offer the Soluna Restaurant and Beach Club on The Palm Jumeirah with cabanas and sun loungers around a Mediterranean-style pool plus a private beach.
