Australia and New Zealand’s largest hotel operator Accor is opening nine brand-new properties across the region in 2023, including three Sydney hotels and three Auckland properties.
The debut properties join Accor’s 18 international hotel, resort and apartment brands from luxury to economy across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.
New Australasian hotels include The Sebel, Pullman and MGallery in the premium category to Millennial lifestyle and extended stay properties such as JO&JOE, Hyde and Tribe.

Accor Pacific CEO Sarah Derry said that 2023 will be another strong year of growth and investment in communities for Accor.
“We are introducing fresh concepts and exciting new properties for our loyal guests to discover in our great cities and in beautiful destinations around Australia and New Zealand,” she said.

New Accor properties opening in Australia in 2023 include the 82-room boutique Hotel Morris in Sydney’s CBD, Manly Pacific MGallery and Mercure Hotel Cairns (all opening in January 2023) plus the 5-star Pullman Sydney Penrith, opening in the Penrith Panthers precinct in late 2023.

Auckland will welcome Accor brands JO&JOE Auckland Fort Street and the design-led Tribe Auckland Fort Street in the third quarter of 2023 with the Pullman Auckland Airport (Te Arikinui Pullman) set to open its doors in Q4 2023.

Elsewhere in New Zealand, The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt apartment-style hotel will open in Q2 2023 with the individualistic 63-room Hyde Queenstown debuting on Shotover Street in Q3 2023.
