EXPLORA III: A new chapter begins
Launching on 3 August 2026, EXPLORA III’s maiden voyage will take guests on a 7-night journey from Barcelona to Lisbon. Following its inaugural sailing, the ship will explore the Atlantic coasts of Portugal and France, the UK, and the Baltic Sea before heading farther north.
Key maiden calls on EXPLORA III’s itinerary include:
- Flåm, Norway
- Riga, Latvia
- Aarhus, Denmark
From Scandinavia, EXPLORA III will sail to Ireland and Iceland before continuing west to Greenland’s vast landscapes. The season concludes with calls at Quebec City and New York, giving travellers the chance to experience North America’s east coast.
Mediterranean returns for EXPLORA I and II
While EXPLORA III charts new waters, EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II will focus on the Mediterranean in summer 2026. Guests can expect itineraries that blend iconic ports such as Santorini, Saint-Tropez, and Lisbon with lesser-known stops like Carloforte in Italy and Syros in Greece.
The Mediterranean season will also feature maiden calls at:
- Çeşme, Türkiye
- Capri, Italy
- Nafplio, Greece
Flexible itineraries and extended stays
Explora Journeys’ summer 2026 sailings offer flexibility, with itineraries ranging from 7 nights to longer voyages of up to 21 nights. Its extended stays and overnight calls also give travellers more time to explore each destination.
A consistent onboard experience
Guests on all three ships will find a familiar experience focused on ocean-inspired wellness, multiple dining options, and spacious suites. The onboard atmosphere aims to combine comfort with an immersive connection to the sea.
