Uber-luxe Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai has its grand opening in late January, welcoming guests from March 2023. Billed as the world’s most ultra-luxury entertainment resort, it will contribute a distinctive façade to the city’s iconic skyline.
Atlantis The Royal highlights two different waterfront views of the Arabian Sea or Palm Island from the 48-storey-high, 795-room property’s six towers joined by a skybridge.
The striking 500m-long, 178m-high megastructure by the world’s leading designers, architects and artists reimagines modern resort architecture.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, which also designed New York’s Hudson Yards, were the architects for Atlantis The Royal.
Atlantis The Royal has an innovative sky garden concept and incorporates a water theme throughout the resort by WET, a leading water feature design firm.

There will be 17 restaurants and bars, including Heston Blumenthal’s inaugural cocktail bar and the world-first ‘Nobu on the Beach’.
The Cloud 22 outdoor entertainment experience with VIP cabanas features private plunge pools, a swim-up cocktail bar and a DJ booth – 43 storeys in the air.

Atlantis Dubai Managing Director Tim Kelly said the unique building reflects the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that guests will have inside.
“Our moment is finally here to reveal Atlantis The Royal as the world’s most ultra-luxury resort.”
“It delivers a bespoke range of breathtaking experiences, inviting guests to swim among the clouds in sky pools and be dazzled by fountains that breathe fire.

“Atlantis the Royal is about experiencing something you never imagined. The architecture sets this up masterfully with the six towers joined by an infinity pool, redrawing the Dubai skyline and creating a new icon,” he said.
