Four Seasons is set to mark its 65th anniversary with 60 projects underway and the launch of its first superyacht, Four Seasons I.
Founded in 1961 by Isadore Sharp with a single hotel in Toronto, Four Seasons now has 135 hotels and resorts and 61 residences in 47 countries.
Heading into 2026 and beyond, Four Seasons hotels will open in “some of the world’s most iconic cities” for the first time, including a return to Berlin after 20 years, after signing a deal to bring Berlin’s historic Hotel de Rome into its fold.
The large-scale renovation will see the transformation of the historic hotel and former Dresdner Bank headquarters into Four Seasons Berlin, which will open in 2027.

The hotel brand will also this year make its debut in Hanoi with Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake and open Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara.
New luxury hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon Beach will open in 2029, and the luxury hotel brand will enter new US destinations such as Charleston and expand its ‘Mountain Collection’ with projects in Telluride and Deer Valley.
This year will also see the launch of Four Seasons I, which will sail across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Adriatic.

Meanwhile, to celebrate a decade in the sky last year, Four Seasons launched a new 20-day, around-the-world private jet experience, including five first-time jet destinations.
The ‘New World Icons’ private jet experience is for just 48 guests, and will cost around A$340,000 per person, including snowmobiling across Iceland’s Langjökull Glacier to Doge’s Palace in Venice and Langkawi’s limestone karsts.

Four Seasons President and Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Reynal says of its 65th anniversary, “Our strength comes from staying true to our values – service excellence and genuine care – while growing intentionally and innovating with purpose”.
“Personalised service, delivered with warmth and authenticity, is our most enduring advantage. Our deeply embedded culture has enabled Four Seasons to expand, evolve, and inspire guests across generations.
“As we look ahead, we remain focused on growing with intention, protecting what makes Four Seasons special, while continuing to introduce exceptional products and experiences that elevate the moments we create for our employees, guests, residents, and partners.”
